1. When do we have to show our passports?

2. I keep seeing pics of people with lanyards. Are those given out by DCL? Is it for your room key?

3. We are signed up for snorkeling on a catamaran in Nassau. Do they provide towels and water or we need to bring our own? Thanks!

1. When you check in at the port, and when you go through customs/immigration after debarking the ship at the end of the cruise.
2. DCL does give lanyards to returning cruisers. If this is your first DCL cruise, you won't get one. But you can buy them, if you want them. You can carry your room key in them. Or in your pocket. Lanyards are entirely up to you.
3. If you are on a DCL excursion, there will be towels available at the meeting location onboard the ship for your use on the excursion. If it's a non-DCL excursion, you can pick up towels from the bins at the exit door when leaving the ship. If you want bottled water on the excursion, typically you bring your own. Some excursions include snacks and/or beverages. Read the description of your excursion to see what's included.

We only needed passports for embarkation and debarktion you did need a photo ID getting on off at port but a license would suffice

first timers don't get lanyards but I bought a (non Disney) Vera Bradley lanyard with matching ID wallet for the trip
