DH, DD6, and I will be tearing ourselves away from WDW and the DXDP for 1 day to visit US/IOA in mid Sept. What time do those parks close, and what time would be the safest to make a TS dinner ADR at WDW for afterwards? We won't be doing any of the coasters or thrill rides, but all of us have done Star Tours & willing to do similar stuff at Universal. I have motion sickness, so I try to keep the milk shakin' to a minimum, LOL! What rides does that leave us to try? We usually don't do the water parks & thrill water rides, but willing to mild ones that don't require a bathing suit. Are the IOA rides preschool-esque, or appropriate for DD6? Since we're eating deluxe at WDW, we don't need anything fancy at US/IOA, but would like to know the least expensive place to get a fresh, great tasting CS meal for lunch. Is it best to grab breakfast at our AS Disney resort, a drive through, or at Universal? What time does Universal open? We'll try to go on a weekday, but it really depends on our schedule at WDW. We'll be there after Labor Day.
Thanks, I will make way for you US experts now!

If you're going after Labor Day and during the week, you should have no problems with crowds and since September is considered slow season, the parks will be open from 9-6. If you're going to leave out the coasters, you should still have plenty to do at both parks and all are appropriate for all ages...depending on your taste and height requirements of course.

As far as lunch goes, I would strongly recommend Thunder Falls Terrace at IOA. They have great food and the chicken wraps are sensational! If you're in the Studios around lunchtime, I would recommend Louie's...the pizza is really good!

You can go on YouTube to check ride videos of the attractions to see which ones you and the family would want to try.

Anything else? Just ask!
:thumbsup2
