Newbie! Question Re: BOOKING!

Hello everyone,

We are about to book our first Disney vacation! We'll be going in June 2015. I understand that the packages dont come out until early Fall, but I can go ahead an book our room now.

Should I book the room now or just wait until the packages come out and do it all together?

We'll be staying 7 days & 6 nights. Art of Animation. With the Disney Dining Plan.

If you are certain you will be booking a package, you may as well wait until they are released because you cannot convert a room only reservation to a package since they are booked by different departments. The room only will have to be cancelled and a new package reservation booked. Any money paid on the room only will be refunded and a new deposit will have to be paid for the package.

You might want to check the Resorts board where someone will post when packages become available for next year. Last year they were released in July.

I would wait. The packages should be coming out soon.
