Newbie question please help

I want a reservation for December 2007 at BWV but own at Wilderness. What are my chances are getting a 1 bedrm Christmas week at BWV if I wait until 7 month out. According to my calculation that would be May right?

Christmas week is very busy. If there is still availability at your home resort, I would reserve there and then try to change at the 7 month window. If there is no availability at your home resort now, then you might take your chances at 7 months and be open to taking any 1 bedroom that is available at any DVC resort.

For Christmas week? I'd say impossible. In fact, I'm betting it's impossible right now.

The standard view and the Boardwalk view go first. So the odds of getting it at Christmas at 7 months would be slim to none.
