Newbie - Question about hiring an outside vendor for pictures

I just found this site about a week ago and I can't stop reading!

Right now I am penciled in for an escape wedding in december at the WP. My question is can we hire an outsire photographer to do our pictures? I am wanting pictures of me getting ready and then of the ceremony and around the GF. I know at this point we are just penciled in so I am taking a risk hiring a photographer but I need to know that I am not breaking some cardinal DFTW rule of bringing someone in for this part (I know that we can not have one in the park).

The only place you can't have an outside photographer is in the parks. Otherwise you can hire whomever you wish. If you're doing an Escape wedding you'll still get the photographer that comes with your package at your ceremony.

...Just check to be sure that the photographer you hire is OK with Disney being there too (if you want Disney there). Some photographers have an exclusivity clause in their contracts.
