*Newbie* Oceaneer Club VS Lab

When you sign up the kids for the Oceaneer club or lab, is it one over the other, or can they go between the two of them? Sorry if that doesn't make sense, this will be my first Disney Cruise, actually my first cruise with my kids. Thanks so much!.. oh and how does one get those cool countdown things you all have at the bottom of your posts

Just one sign up for that age group and they are linked together. So the kids can freely go from one to the other. Which ship are you sailing? I was a bit leary of the clubs on our first cruise but when we got home that is all my daughter talked about. So after that we found a balance and I let her enjoy her fun and found out it was ok for me to have some adult fun too.

We are sailing next year 10/6/17 out of NYC on the Magic.. I am so excited to be taking my Hubs, kids (will be 6 & 9 when we sail) and mother in law on their first cruise! my mom and MiL will be in an adjoining cabin. Only thing I'm a little nervous about is being so far Aft.. but it is what it is.
