First excuse my lack of knowledge about points. I have read through the FAQ, etc., but I am still confused. Hypothetical questions:

Say I want to rent a 1 BR at SSR for 4 nights and 5 days during week of 4/18/05 (again, hypothetical) what would it cost me in dollars??

OR, say I want to rent a 1 BR at BCV for 4 nights and 5 days during the w/o 11/21, what would it cost me in dollars?

Again, excuse my ignorance, but I still can't figure out when someone is saying that have points to rent, what the bottom line in money is!

If you go to the points chart for the resort you want to stay at -- you can figure the amount of points you'll need for your stay during the time of year you choose. Then you'll find someone who has points to "rent" which they charge an average of $ 10.00 and up for per point. Take your total points needed and multiply it by the price per point that "renter" wants and you'll get your price in $$$$.

Also, try staying Sunday thru Thurday nights, less points equals less $$$.

Most people are asking $10 per point. A one bedroom at SSR in April is 27 points per night on weekdays; 54 for Friday &/or Saturday nights. So if your 4 nights are weeknights, you would need 4x27 points (108) which would usually cost $1,080. If I didn't explain this clearly, feel free to ask more questions!
