Hi everyone! I've been reading all the posts for SW but I'm still confused... :confused3 Can someone help me?

If I book with SW (which does have the cheapest faire) am I guaranteed a seat but not a specific seat, right?

I need to get to the airport early to wait in line to board as its a first come first serve, right?

I have to print out my boarding passes 24hrs before my plan departs which means that I have to get someone in Guest Services to print out my return passes, right? --- This is where I am MOST confused because I've only ever done round trips and I guess you can't do round trips thru SW? --

Any other SW insight is greatly appreciated, I'm just a mess trying to figure all this out for our honeymoon. :guilty:

You are guaranteed a seat, even if it's not assigned. You need to get to the airport an hour or so early, but not really any earlier than you would with any other airline these days with the safety check and so on. You can get someone in Guest Services to print out your return passes, but you don't have to do that. You can just do curbside check in at the Orlando Airport and get your boarding pass that way.

That's correct. You are guaranteed a seat, it's just not an assigned one.

Sort of. When you get your boarding pass you will be assigned a letter: A, B or C. A boards first, followed by B and then C. They have a specific area for everyone who has the same letter to stand and a lot of people line up so they can have the first pick of seats.

You don't have to print your boarding passes out 24 hrs in advance. This is just a perk that SW has. The earlier you print out your boarding pass the more likely you will end up with an A vs C on your pass.

SW is really a very nice company to fly with. I've always had very good experiences with them. Have fun on your honeymoon!! :goodvibes
