HEEELLLLPPP!!

We will be in WDW from October 18th and leaving the morning of October 25th, staying at the GF. We are 3 adults and a 6 year old and an 8 year old (both girls). I am sooooo overhwhelmed trying to figure out my ADRs. Trying to work around EMH's, MNSSHP, parades :confused3 We are on the basic Dining Plan. This is what I am thinking about so far:

Saturday 10/18 - Dinner 50's Prime Time Cafe
Sunday 10/19 - Kona - breakfast - the only reason we are doing this is because I want Tonga Toast!!! However, I haver heard that Captain Cook's Snack Company also has Tonga Toast. Can anyone confirm?
Monday 10/20 CRT - breakfast -let's hope the ADR Gods are with me for this one!!
Tuesday 10/21 - Crystal Palace - Dinner and MNSSHP
Wed - 10/22 California Grill dinner- late enough to see Wishes
Thurs - 10/23 1900 Park Faire -Dinner
Friday -??????

What do you think -

Bonnie

Good job for a newbie...I think you've picked some great restaurants! My only thought is that you may want to think about switching your Sunday breakfast at Kona with one of your dinner ADRs as your two little ones may be VERY anxious to get to the parks on your first full day. Good luck.

Great choices.

Here are some thoughts:

Prime Time is cute on the theme but the food is "so-so", in my opinion. For better food at Hollywood Studios, I would try Mama Melrose or Brown Derby.
Kona Cafe is a great place for breakfast, but you're right, Captain Cooks does have Tonga Toast (at least they did when I was there in August). Be prepared, it is VERY sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love it!!
How about Chef Mickey on Friday for breakfast? It's fun for the kids - Mickey does a "celebration" where all the kids wave their napkins and if you're celebrating a birthday, they make a big deal of it at this time also.

Personally, my favorite restaurant is Boma (at AK lodge). Different flavored but excellent food. It's a buffet and they do have a kids station with the standard fare - pasta, chicken fingers, french fries etc.

Good luck and have fun.

We're going next week and then will be back in August - can't wait!

For Friday for Dinner i would definetely reccomend the sci-fi dinner in Hollywood Studios. It is such a neat atmosphere, sitting in a "parked car" and watching old flicks while you eat! Irs one of my favorites!! But as far as the one's you've picked out, sound great. I also LOVE  Crystal Palace. It's my favorite WDW resturant, so i know you will enjoy it there! Also Liberty Tree Tavern is something to think about in MK. Lots and lots of character time!!!! :yay: Have so much fun on your trip!!! :wizard:

The girls would LOVE Princess Storybook at Epcot! It's full of Princesses and the food is very good, especially the Breakfast! I'd choose this any day over CRT. It's nice to eat in the castle but the food is nothing to dream about! PS is a million times better and it has tons Princesses!

With 6 and 8yo girls CRT is a good choice, no need to be so practical with them at those ages. In a few years the 8yo will be too cool for CRT. :rotfl2:

Other places to consider: Coral Reef, Boma and Chef Mickey's for any meal thes places serve.

On your first park day, just have breakfast at the GF CS place and get to the park. Use that TS for lunch at the Plaza; a good meal in the heart of the magic. ie. you'll get the girls to relax and eat w/o taking them away from the magic at MK. You could also save the TS for dinner and go next door to Main Street bakery for a CS lunch. MSB offers premade sandwiches, drinks and amazing desserts for your CS credit. Our 6yo went right for an Uncrustable PB&J. :confused3 Guess I have to be under 8 to get that, huh? I had the basil mozzerella sandwich which I highly recommend. The dessert selection is jaw dropping; both for size and taste will wow you.

I am still tweaking :) I am considering doing the Brown Derby with Fantasimic package instead of California Grill for Wishes. Captain Cook's will satisfy my Tonga Toast need (I have had it before and LOVED it!!!!!) so I don't have to do Kona and can save the TS. So, breakfast at the GF would be a good thing.

So many choices, so little time :scared1:
