Newbie needs 2 bdr VWL Memorial Day 2005

DS graduating high school May 2005 and wanted to splurge on VWL 2 bedroom. I know this is early planning but we hoped for Memorial Day week (May 30 - June 4). Do I need to rent from a VWL DVCer or can I rent from anyone who has available pts?
I think this would be around 280 pts.
