Price difference between these choices is negligible. It’s for myself and 2 kids- 10yo and 4yo. I see putting 4yo to bed early on the pullout with that brilliant privacy curtain, and 10 sleeping with me until the 4yo inevitably joins us in the middle of the night. I’m just not familiar with the pros and cons of the available decks. Which would you choose? Is the extra square footage of 10B noticeable over Cat 11, and overall better experience even being in deck 2? Appreciate any opinions!

Another question: at this late date would I probably be stuck with late dinner seating? What time is that exactly? 😬

Book the deluxe. The split bathroom is a lifesaver! Also, the 10 yr old would not have to sleep with you. There is a bed that pulls down from the ceiling above the couch bed; much like a bunk bed.

One of the great things about booking a 10b is that you have a much better chance at scoring an upgrade to an Oceanview or Verandah cabin. They can’t put you in a lower category cabin, and your inside options are limited. There are only so many 10A and 10B inside cabins.

If you book an 11B, that adds all the 11B, and 11A cabins, plus the 10 A,B, and C inside cabins that you could move into before the chances of catching a lucky Oceanview upgrade.

Late dinner is usually around 8:15. Usually 3 - 4 months from the cruise, late dining is the only thing left, but it's possible that early dining could still be available, and you can also put in a request for early dining when you book, and then check on the status of that request upon boarding. If it wasn't granted, they might be able to switch you at Dining Changes upon boarding. No guarantees but it's possible- the chances are better the earlier you show up at Dining Changes.
