I haven't seen it mentioned, but your biggest helps from Dis boards come in the sticky section. Maleficient2 and others have put together extensive guides that will make questing easier, show you rarity or cost of items and pins that have been out in the past, and guidelines for playing vmk as well as posting on DIS.

I just joined VMK in the last week and am loving it too. I stll am trying to figure it all out. My DH thought I was crazy last night as I screamed about earning the pink autopia pin. I tried all day to break 3k in the fireworks. PHEW. Now I am trying for the diving pin...but I am soooooo bad at the PoC game.

I am looking for some cool friends too. I want to meet people on there who are there to actually help one another. Sick of being asked if I am taken etc...etc.. hehe. Blah! So if you are there to play VMK, be my buddy.

If people want to show me the ropes of VMK its also apreciated.. still got the dreaded Guest name.. waiting for it to be Kevir, gosh they are slow at verifing?

As far as trading, what I would recommend to do is to buy an extra of each weekend's special...especially costumes/hats, but also pins. All of a sudden you will have something that is starting to have some worth once the item is retired. Obviously the older the item is, the more worth it has, but this is a great way to get started. Play games to get lots of credits to buy all of that stuff!

Others have mentioned the player's guide above, that is a great resource. Especially look for the section that gives you codes for free credits!

I believe there is a new quest today...click on the Q button at the bottom of your VMK screen and you can do quests to get free stuff.
