I am sooo new to the cruising thing, but all I read sounds like my family may have found our nitch. My DH suggested we try a cheap trip the first time and if it's as great as it sounds book onboard a more deluxe trip. As I started looking into where to go, Eastern or Western, where to stay and all I got completerly overwhelmed. All the pricing was going up so I booked quick. Figure I can change it if it's totally wrong. Here's what I got :

7 day Western May 8th, 2004 Magic
2 Adults 2 kids $2600.
Cat 11 Room 6543

How'd I do? Please all you experts, be brutally honest. I would sure appreciate any suggestions you have.

Thanks!

You'll be happy on Deck 6. Your stateroom is very close to the forward stairs and elevator, which are hardly ever congested.

So glad you and your family decided to cruise!

That room is very close to where we've been - but we've always been in the outside verandah rooms. This past cruise our stateroom hostess was cleaning the room across the hall from us and I took a really good look inside.

There is not as much room as in the outside rooms and for us - our 2 kids are 13 & nearly 16 (DS is 6'2" & ~200 lb) we need that little bit of extra space. If the kids are younger you'll probably be fine.

Sounds like an outstanding price for the 7 day Western by the way!

Welcome to cruising.

Deb

Thanks for your input! I'm glad to hear the room will be ok.
