Hi all! Well, my bride-to-be and I are planning a small get-away for the end of June to WDW. We're looking to stay at the values (AAA discount!) and I have been searching for more discounts on food and tickets. Logged on to ebay and found hopper tickets for sale for a bit less than the park prices. We are only planning on the MC, so I am not sure if we need the hoppers or not...its been almost 20 years since I've been to WDW. Any $ saving ideas? Thanks!

njlawyer - Welcome to the DIS boards you have definitley come to the right place for help. My DH and I have an All Star Sports trip coming up in 8 days! We loved the All Stars last time we stayed and think the atmosphere is fun. I am not much help with the discount tickets, DH and I have always just bought 5 day Park Hoppers even if we are only planning to be in the park for a few days as they never expire and it gives you an excuse to go back..:D Don't know if that would work for you or not. If you haven't been in 20 years you may want to try some of the other parks, if you get the park hoppers DH and I also really enjoy MGM Studios even though Magic Kingdom is our favorite. Others seem to really love EPCOT even though it wasn't a favorite of ours. How many days are you planning to go for? There is also a new package out I believe on Sunday if you wanted to push your trip back a little that might work out for you. You can read up on it on http://www.mousesavers.com it includes your park passes For dining I would suggest having your larger meal at lunch if you are trying to save money as many times at the sit-down restaurants the menus are basically the same but much cheaper. Hope this is a little bit of help, I am sure the others will be able to help much more!

Don't buy any Disney on Ebay! You can't tell if the tickets are valid until you get to the park, and then it's too late. It's also illegal - that's why eBay won't allow any portion of the transaction to take place in Florida.

I think the best deal, long term is the 7 day park hopper plus pass. It's the most expensive, but the days never expire, you WILL be coming back! It also has 4 days at the water parks, and if my math is right, it's the cheapest per day ticket I found. You can use the water park days for PI, but at $15.00 I buy separate PI tickets, and then upgrade them at PI for $5.00 and get 5 nights for a total of $20.00! I got my passes at www.flavacationcenter.com with no problems!

First trip to WDW? WARNING - it's like a drug!!!!!

I wouldnt buy any tickets off e-bay. Yes there are some that do ahve days left but you just never know til you get to Disney. They are many discount ticket places I would pick from: ticketmania, Paramount, the one listed above. Between this site and mary's (mousesavers) you should be able to locate some excellent deals and advise.
