I'm not sure if it's mentioned below or not, but we also get 10% off of the Unlimited Park Hopper. That is the ONLY park ticket discount for DVC members. We also get a couple dollars off of the "gate" prices for the water parks and DQ.
Also bear in mind that these discounts are subject to change at any time. The discount program is NOT guaranteed to DVC members by contract, and they could eliminate it at any time with no member recourse.
Nothing wrong with seeing what's out there, but I wouldn't suggest making it a very large component of your purchasing decision.

Discount programs are available at all Disney Vacation Club Resorts and include savings on dining, recreation, and other "mouse"ellaneous experiences. To take advantage of these great discounts, you must present either your Disney Vacation Club Member card or your Walt Disney World® Resort ID card (with your "DVC Member" designation on it) at the location. When paying for purchases with your Disney's Visa® Card from Bank One, you must also present your Member Card at the time of purchase to receive any available Member perks.

The exclusive Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership offers Members who purchase this plan (Cardholders), and up to three Guests, special rates for one 18-hole round of golf per day at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, Disney's Palm Golf Course, Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course or Disney's Eagle Pines Golf Course. The special rates apply for tee times after 10:00 a.m. (regular Walt Disney World golf rates apply prior to 10:00 a.m.).
To participate in this plan, Members must purchase a Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership (valid for one year from date of purchase) at any Walt Disney World Pro Shop for $85 plus tax. Cardholders and up to three guests (only when they are playing with the Cardholder) receive special per-round pricing. Celebration Golf Club
Disney Vacation Club Members receive special rates at Celebration Golf Club. The rates include greens fees, required golf carts, and applicable sales taxes. Disney Vacation Club Members may reserve tee times with a credit card guarantee up to 30 days in advance of the date of their requested tee time. All tee times are subject to availability. Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance. Cancellations received less than 48 hours from the scheduled time of play, no-shows, and no-calls will be charged at the full rate.
