Hi help this poor lady
I’ll be doing my 1 st RC cruise on most probably allure of the sea this sept ( I say probably cause we are deciding this today or tomorrow)
I am not really a newbie as I did 22 Disney cruises

But my 1 st on royal

Have a few questions

For shows exemple comedy .. singer .. skating shows ... only a show per night ?
How do we find out where it will be and what time ?
Does royal have some kind of journal where you see upcoming activities ?

Dinning can i eat whenever we want ? Just seated us 2 ?
We are huge soda drinker
How does that go ? ( cause. Disney it’s included)
Package ? And how does it work ? Let’s say I want a Diet Coke in the afternoon ? At dinner ? Any kind of packages for soft drinks ?

On the private island lunch is provided ?

We love movies is there a movie theater ? Or pool movie showings?

Thanks for any help hints ...

Since your cruise is in September of this year, you might be able to answer a lot of your own questions on the RCL site. Create a login, link your reservation, and you can see your cruise planner. A lot of the shows you can reserve before you go. For sure Mamma Mia, the aqua show, 1 of the ice shows, and some of the comedy shows. I think there are a couple of showings of the same show per night. Shows show up under "Entertainment" in the planner and you can book them somewhere around 90 days out. (sorry I see now you haven't booked yet. When you do, you can see all this stuff)

Royal has a printed daily planner that you get in your room the night before. I believe all the activities are on the app as well.

You should have either My Time Dining or a set dining time. You pick it when you book. We had a set dining time and were seated in the main dining room at the same time and table every night. There are upcharge restaurants but we didn't use any of them. Johnny Rockets is free for breakfast and was a nice change of pace. I think if you choose the My Time you can dine anytime. Or maybe you can make reservations night by night. I don't know. We like the set time.

You have to either buy the soda package on Royal or pay as you go. We get the package because you get a cup that allows you access to the Freestyle Coke machine (where you can mix flavors). If you get the package, you'll have something on your card stating so. This allows you to order soda in the dining room or bars and it will still be free (or included). I think it's $8.99/day plus gratuity (which they will automatically charge).

Best of luck. We loved Allure and are on Harmony this October,

You will have multiple shows per day. You will get a Compass each night for the next day so you can plan. You will be able to make reservations for those show ahead of your cruise online or on the app. Very easy.

Yes, there are three places to eat on the island and it is included.

They show movies on the large screen in the Aqua theater, they will be listed in the Compass.

If you google the Cruise Compass (that's what their brochure of activities is called that you get in your stateroom every night) for the ship/route you want to take, you will very likely find places online that have scanned them in. This would give you a great idea of what the evening entertainment is like. And what is showing in the cinema/times etc.

I posted a link on your other thread for getting the recent Cruise Compass for Allure. I downloaded one that had all 7 days worth of activities. I see multiple shows each night, offered at various times. I am going to try to attach one here. What ages are the kids? I found a teen Cruise Compass as well. Also, lots of complimentary venues for food included. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2019/04/12/perfect-day-cococay-prices-and-costs
