I am still somewhat a VMK newbie. Only been playing for less that 2 months. I have about 33k credits right now. Just curious for the "old timers" on here...what is a good number to try and achieve before the Halloween stuff (and holiday season) stuff comes out. Been trying to play lots of fireworks, but with good stuff coming out every week (not to mention spree trades through the boards here), I keep having to catch up again with credits.

So how much should I aim for? :confused3

Well, it depends on what you are planning to get. I use about 40k for Christmas and Halloween combined unless I'm planning on making a room, I save at least 50k.
It depends. I'd aim for *at least* 25k per holiday.

a zillion should cover it ;)

if your a room builder you will need more than if your just a trader.

It is a good idea to buy several of each as you never know what might not come back next year. For instance, green soldiers are worth much more than red because they didnt come back, and if they dont again well... $_$ kaching!

I disagree, I'm a collector/trader and I have rooms and rooms of items. xD

Like, one room for each item :)

I never build. Unless its for ride comps. :upsidedow

Hmm...

What we seen last November/December:
Candy Cane Blue = 500
Candy Cane Green = 0
Candy Cane Magenta = 0
Candy Cane Red = 500
Candy Cane Yellow = 1000
Gingerbread Bench = 0
Mickey Christmas Tree = 1000
Santa's Chair = 500
Skeleton at the Helm Xmas = 250
Stack of Presents = 250
Cookie Tree = 0
Toontown Fireplace = 1000
Toy Soldier Red = 500
Holiday Wreath Pink = 300
Snowman Magic = 5000
Snowman Magic Pin Single Use = 100
Holiday 2006 Christmas Pin = 500
Holiday 2006 Candy Canes Pin = 500
Holiday 2006 Snowflake Pin = 500
Holiday 2006 Wreath Pin = 0
Chanukah Presents = 300
Holiday Chair Blue = 500
Holiday Chair Red = 0
Holiday Chair Yellow = 1000
Holiday 2006 Chanukah Pin = 500

Total = 14,700 for just one of everything. :)

Much much cheaper than Halloween. ;)

I think I was spending about 50k a week October-December.

No clue, but if you are trying to get some trades done and save credits, I would suggest waiting a bit and trading up instead of trading your credits away. ;)

Last year I bought ten of each item and only 1 of each costume (bad mistake). This year I am in WDW which will make it harder for me to earn credits whilst spending them so I really want to hit a target of around 50K, I don't think there will be too many new furniture items.

last halloween, I spent about 200k in credits, and Christmas was about 150k

I can't even comprehend how many games of fireworks that would mean for me!! I better start doing better than about 500 credits per game. :scared1:

Alright, you guys have given me a good idea of just how much I need to bank before the holidays. I have collected some furniture, but as a newbie, have been more interested in the clothes/hats. I wonder if most people start off like me...then start getting more exciting about building their rooms up...then branch into getting a quest machine and go from there.

Anyway, if you see AtomicSpaceGirl in the fireworks game...you know why I am there! :rotfl:

And on Tuesdays you have GOT to go do friendly pirates. I made 12,000 in just two or three hours. :rotfl2:

I am so beyond *bad* at the pirates game...that your "Friendly" game would turn evil because you all would hate me so! hehe. :lmao:

Yeah. You can manage to do that when you already have a group that you play with. if you don't, then it's mostly standing around trying to find people who will play with you.

I managed only around 2500 credits the other night bacause we wasted so much time trying to find someone else to join us.

Other wise, if you just play normally with strangers, you end up losing more than you earn because the bonus credits just bring out the best players. And they are completely ruthless. :rolleyes1

I haven't seen this mentioned yet...........If they sell bat magic again, it is 10,000. I don't remember if snowman magic was the same.

Snowman magic was 2,000 the first time it came out (2005), but was 5,000 in 2006. Wish it would go back to 2,000 again. Even VMK has inflation, apparently. :sad2:

It did not go up to 5,000, it was still 2,000 - says so right here in my spreadsheet :)
