Newbie going to Sea World for the fist time with DS3 and an animal lover DS6 what should we do and not miss? Is one day enough?? Any tricks or specials I should know about?

We are going to WDW in Dec 3 - 15 so we are thinking of renting a car?? What is the best way to get there with 2 kids in car seats?

Thanks in advance!!

I think Sea World is a must if you are in Orlando. My dd,6 loved it. She loves Shamu. We really enjoyed the Dolphin Encounter, my dd fed the dolphins and got the touch them as they swam by. She loved the Shamu show also. Usually when you are leaving the park if you turn your ticket in you get a free ticket for a second day of fun free. If they are still doing that. So I would definitely go for 2 days if that is still an option for free.

Getting there........we rented a car and the drive was quick and simple. I think they do have shuttles from the TTC if you are staying on disney property. We are going Dec 1 through Dec 10 this year, so we'll be there around the same time as you. We are definitely planning on doing Sea World again. It is not to be missed with us.

Have fun!!!!

Just go. Do not go all the way to Orlando and not go to SW. It is made for DS/DD animal fans. :thumbsup2

I plan to keep advocating SW here in the DIS until the Tag Fairy chokes me with Pixie Dust. pixiedust:

We loved Sea World! We went last Sept. and got some kind of special deal where we got 3 days for the price of 1, so we went all 3 days at a leisurely pace. We took our DGS age 3 and he loved the Shamu show. He wanted to see it every day (and it was a little bit different every day). He also loved the playground behind the Shamu stadium ( I think). We got some great pics of him standing beside the huge Clysdale. Sea World takes a picture, but they tell you that you are welcome to make your own picture. The food at the place near the Clysdales was very good. It's the place where they give you a free beer. The dolphin show is also great. Like I said, we loved Sea World! I feel like we enjoyed it more by going several days and really getting the feel of it.

i agree, if your an animal fan than Seaworld is the place for you. You must see Blue Horizons because it was awesome. Also you should go see the new show "Believe" with shamu. Also the kids will love Clyde and seymore, and Pets ahoy. We also like to eat at Spice Mill, pretty affordable and its lake front. If you are planning on going anytime soon just make sure you take plenty of water and sunscreen!
