Newbie from WV anyone else??

Hi All!

I have been lurking for a while now and finally decided to come out and introduce myself!

My name is Joy and I am from WV.

We will be leaving for Disneyworld in 2 days. It will be just myself and my daughter and we will be celebrating her 9th birthday while we are there. We are soooo excited and counting down every minute!

This will be my 3rd trip to DW and my daughters 2nd. Although It is really like her first because she doesn't remember anything from her first trip there.

Anyway, just wanted to drop in to say hello and see how many other DISer's are from WV??????

Joy - We celebrated my step daughters sweet 16th birthday there and she just loved it! Upon check-in do not forget to ask the cast member for a "Happy Birthday" button, so your daughter can wear around the parks and all the cast members will say "Happy Birthday" to her. Also, they will deliver a balloon and an autographed photo of Mickey & Minnie to your room. You can also receive a Disney character wake up call each morning to start her day off with a smile! HAVE FUN!!

I'm also from WV (the Eastern panhandle!) but moved to TN this past Jan. We got home from WDW yesterday and had a blast!! have fun!

This DISer is originally from Williamstown (Parkersburg area) WV but moved to northern VA several years ago. It may be home now but WV always feels like home. Go Mountaineers

Hi All!! Nice to meet everyone and it's good to see that there are some people here from WV.

Well we were suppose to leave Friday around 10 am to head out to Florida......BUT I just can't wait any longer!!!! LOL So as soon as DD gets out of school tomorrow, we are going to head out of here! Boy will she be surprised! I'm not telling her until I pick her up tomorrow...hehehe So when she comes out of school the car will be all decorated up for the trip. I bought a bunch of window markers and I am going to write "Disney Bound" and "Honk for the Birthday Girl" LOL I found some Mickey Mouse Streamers so I am going to hang those all in the inside of the car. I can't wait to see her face! I will try and have my camera handy so I can share.
