Newbie from New Zealand

Hi everyone

have been reading the boards from across the sea in New Zealand for a year now and finally got the courage to join up. The info here is fantastic.

Our family has been to DL quite a few times and our next big trip is 2 weeks in Sept 2010 to Disney World. We are all very excited and this time we are taking my 7 yr old nephew for his first visit. He is already is a disney nut as he had to be to fit into the family.

Hope to speak to you all sometime in the future.

My name is Sharon I joined up yesterday I will be going to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World this is our first family trip anywhere the kids and myself havent been on a plane before so this is going to be exciting we are going in August 2010

How exciting - you will just love it!!! How cool, the first time on a plane and the first trip to Disney. Are you counting the days???

I cant wait - we have been planning our next trip for 2 years now and saving madly and its just under a year now.

How neat that you are just across the ditch from me here - I love Sydney.

Yes i am counting the days the kids are very excited.

We only started to plan our holiday when once again my leave was not approved for last month because of some stupid excuse and then i saw Getaway a travel show in Australia which did a special on LA and then i was hooked we have been saving since october.

Haven't been to New Zealand maybe that will be another trip i have to plan

Hi guys - I'm in Chch NZ.
How exciting for you to be planning a trip - I'm envious! We did our trip to DL Anaheim in April this year. DH and I had been to DL several times before pre-kids - and WDW, but it was the first time for our boys 6 and 9.
We would love to go back but can't see it happening before 2011
I still lurk on these boards to get my Disney hit until then!
There is a good Aussie thread (with a few Kiwi posters!) for DL here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2147291

which DIS Boards just started a week or so ago.

I'm very out of date on info on WDW but happy to answer any queries on DL!
