:confused3 Im new to euro disney and if Im honest a bit worried that Im going to be disappointed after spending too much time in disney world!

We have booked to take a short trip over for the weekend and we fly into Beauvais. There are four of us going and we can hire a car for the 2 days for just over £50 which seems very reasonable. I know there are shuttle buses and the rer/metro but I just wondered if going this way is any quicker or more economical than just hiring a car?? :confused3

We are trying to do disney on a budget this year after somehow managing 5 weeks in disney world last year so I need the cheapest way to get from beauvais to DLP as possible!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Laura and welcome to the DLP board! :welcome:

I have only travelled by Eurostar but I have just looked in our Useful Info sticky where Becky has compiled a superb thread on travel here and it seems the only two feasible options from Beauvais are a private shuttle or renting a car. I would imagine the hire car is going to be the cheaper of the two!

As for being disappointed in DLP after WDW, I was also worried about this but fell in love with DLP as soon as I walked through the turnstiles! I think so long as you keep an open mind and remember it is not WDW or DL but Disney with a European flavour you will have a wonderful time! :wizard:

Where are you staying?

Hi Laura and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

Thanks for the welcomes!

I wanted to stay at Santa Fe or one of the other disney resorts but we have been offered a really good deal at the Holiday Inn which has shuttle buses and everything so considering its only for the weekend I think I will probably save the extra cash and go for it.

No doubt I will have lots or questions before we go I'm quite excited at the thought or a whole new bit of Disney to explore! :Pinkbounc

We had a car last year. Disney is easy to find and it will mean that you dont need to go through Paris on the bus. It also meant we could go shopping and buy some bits and pieces in Achuan (Hypermarket nearby).
