OK--I am gearing up to contact DVC member services to bank my remaining 2001 DVC points for the very first time and I need a little handholding! Is it easier to call or to send an email from the DVC member website? what information do I need? Do I need my contract number or just my DVC membership card with the member number? will member services be able to look me up on the computer and confirm the number of points I am banking? I am sorry if these sound like silly questions, I just dont want to screw this up!!!!

MS will walk you thru the whole process!

They will ask for your membership number- the one on your card. For those who have more than one membership number- they can look it up for you once inside your data record.

I would have them confirm the number of points you have remaining to bank and they'll do the rest.

Enjoy!

All DVC transactions (ressies, banking, etc) are assigned a confirmation number. I always write that down as well since they don't send you any paper confirming your banking. It's good to have the reference number in case they ever have to look it up in the computer.

And I've banked points twice...just call MS and they are great!

I bankded my huge 8 pts that were originally remaining for 2002, I banked my BCV add-on, and soon to bank my OKW add-on throgh e-mail. Simple and quick. They e-mailed confirmation number with total of points that I have which I printed out and saved.
