Hi Everyone! :goodvibes

I've been reading this forum for quite a while now - you guys certainly seem to know pretty much everything there is to know about Disney!

My boyfriend and I are going to DLP next month :yay: (big kids!). I've been there plus WDW before but my boyfriend has never experienced the Disney Magic!

I have a few questions about the Annual Passports that I'm hoping someone would be kind enough to answer for me. We are planning to have 2 full days at the park. From what I can make out a Francilien Passport costs 89 Euros and includes 10% off restaurants as well and a 2 day hopper pass costs £70.45 (on 365tickets). So, to me, it seems that an AP is more cost effective. But how do I get hold of 2 of these before we go on 11th March and does the 10% off restaurants include restaurants in Disney Village as well as the Park restaurants?

:tink:

There is certain dates you can't though...but if you read some threads from a few days ago you will realise I'm the worst person to say anything....:rotfl: So I will bump this thread and head off!!:thumbsup2

Welcome :)

If you buy a Francielien AP you cannot use it one the 2nd or 3rd day after purchase, plus they have blackout dates in which it cannt be used for either.

Someone else will be along soon who will know more :)

Thats right, Francillien passes cannot be used on day 2 and 3 after activation, plus they have blackout days (ie days of the year when they cannot be used at all as park tickets).

As I understand it, any park annual pass is only activated on your first actual day in the park, so in your case, you wouldn't be able to use it for your 2nd day in the park - you'd have to buy a 1-day park ticket, then your Francillien pass could be used (outside blackout days) for one year from the first day of activation.

This link is great for explaining all the advantages/blackout days/prices of the various annual passes -

If you do decide on an annual pass, also remember you can get 10% discount on the price you pay if you get sponsored by an existing annual pass holder - there is a thread on this site which will give you lots of information about that.

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome :goodvibes

So, I guess that the Hopper Pass will be best. I really want to buy them before I go, where's best (cheapest!)?
