Newbie and need help with codes!!!

I've been reading the past couple of days about discount codes and never realized they existed. We booked our vacation on July 4th for a stay at the Contemporary, Nov. 16-23rd. Can anyone tell me if there is a discount code for this time? Also, since it is already booked, are we entitled for a refund if there is one? I don't know where to begin to find anything on it. I am fairly new to the disboards and get overwhelmed with all the info. If anyone can help, I'd truly appreciate it.

Yes, there is a discount for your timeframe, however, it is for packages only. Did you book a package? If so, you may be able to apply it.

Fall Vacation Package Promotion
Discounted Walt Disney World resort packages are available for check-in dates 9/30/07-11/19/07, 11/24/07-11/28/07 and 12/8/07-12/23/07. The package must include at least a minimum stay of 3 nights and at least a 1-Day Magic Your Way ticket. There is very limited availability.

This discount may be applied to a regular Magic Your Way Package or a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining.

You must book this offer by 9/26/07. It is also bookable by those living in the UK and Canada.


What you would need to do is call CRO - (did you book through disney?) Anyway, call them and ask them to apply the discount to your existing reservation. That's it!!! IF there is availability they'll just add it and if a refund is applicable they'll send it to you!!

Oh, and when booking trips in the future, always check here or www.mousesavers.com for the latest info!!! Generally though, I'd start checking for discounts at least 3-4 months before your trip!!!

I called and the code didn't apply to our vacation. We're staying at the Contemporary with a MK view and there was nothing available so we couldn't get a discount. Does there have to be a opening at the hotel in order for this to apply?

Yes, there needs to be an opening at your hotel. Call back and see if they have availability at an other resort. If you get a good enough discount, it might be worth your while to switch. Good luck!

Yes, they only allow so many rooms to be booked at each hotel with the codes. Did you ask if any other deluxe hotels have any openings?? If, you are willing to switch??!
