My wife and I are new to Universal. We are coming down for a two week vacation, staying on Disney property. We bought the 7 day ticket thing for Universal. Never been before.

We would like to know is one day per park enough?

How are the crowds the last week of Nov, first week of Dec?

Which week would be better?

Sorry about the last minute questions but we never thought to go to Universal until one of my wife's clients told us about it and I found the deal on tickets. From everything I've read it's totally different than Disney which is good. Life would be boring if everything was the same!

Either week will be fine. The parks should be slow. Definitely take one day per park, go slow, and just enjoy yourself.

Although crowds should not be an issue, be sure to factor in the travel time from WDW. Unless you have your own car, Disney goes out of its way to make leaving the property an expensive hassle.

My advice: get an early start,

I would recommend going during a weekday as even though this is a slow/low crowd time of year - it tends to be alittle busier on the weekends in my experience.

Enjoy

Kellymonaghan,

We will have our own ride so getting off property will not be a problem.

How far of a drive is it from Disney?

Chris.

Thank you everyone for all the tips and information.

12hrs and counting till the long drive to Florida.  First snow of the year yesterday, can't wait to get outta here.
