I just ordered a Preferred AP online and have to pickup at parks when we get there. How do I sign in at the site under passholder or can I do that without having my AP in hand yet or do I call and they can give me my ID#??
Thank You for your help

I would call and see what they say. If you are trying to book a room , just put APH in the promo code area.

I've never found anything worthwhile in the passholder section. I wonder what I am missing.

if you are talking about obtaining an AP rate on your room without having the AP at the time of booking, don't worry.

when you check into the hotel and if they ask to see your AP, tell them you are processing it when you go to the park.

they can put down the rack rate on your ressie at check in time but will change it back to the AP rate you booked under once you show them your AP.

i went thru that the first time i got my AP.
it really wasn't any big deal.

i checked in to the hotel, went to the park, processed my voucher for the ap and when i returned to the hotel in the night, stopped by the front desk to show my ap card.

now to your real question:
you can not sign into the ap website until your voucher has been processed.

perks for the AP holders are 10% off food and merch in the parks and city walk, hotel discounts. also discounts for buying tickets

Thank you for your help. I call them and was told the samething.
I am just a little worried about getting everthing right since this will be our first trip and know nothing about Universal or IOA . We leave Sunday for a WDW and Universal trip. We have been to WDW many times but never had time to get over there.

Thanks
Linda

if you are not staying on site at universal but driving to the universal parks from disney, you will have to pay for garage parking.

once you have an activated AP, free parking.

to avoid paying the parking fee at universal, have your husband drop you off go then to have your ap voucher processed. (he can go to the little strip mall down the street and wait there until you call him.)

when that has been completed, call your husband to return and get you.
you can then go with him to park the car.
with the actual AP, your parking fees are waived.

most people do not do it that way.
they park in the garage, pay the fee.
once they have processed the voucher and get the AP, they use it for all future parking needs then.
