Newb needs help!

Hi everyone, my inlaws and sister inlaws family are going to DL next week....my 6 year old daughter asked me today...why cant i go daddy?, the cousins are going for the second time! The reality is that due to some mistakes in my past i am unable to enter USA...i am in the process of having that rectified..however its still a year away...I have decided that my little girl should nt miss out because of foolish mistakes on my part....so im trying to put together a package for my wife and daughter....however the rest of the family is staying at howard johnson and my wife would like to stay there as well...the problem im having is finding a package that includes howard johnson as the hotel....they would be departing from vancouver bc on either the 22 or 23 of august and returning on the 27th..... perhaps i should book the flight and resort passes seperate from the hotel? if anyone can help point me in the right direction or offer advice i would be in your debt! Thanks in advance!

I would book it separately. I believe that it is probably cheaper to do it that way.

Try seperate. If you can get them in Hojo, try another hotel on the block close to the parks. If they are going to hang out in the rooms together but just go to the parks together, sleeping 100 meters away may only be a small matter.

Try separate bookings. Also, I've read about some Canadians using flightcentre for tickets. If you have one near you, try and give them a call.

I just finished booking my trip and I did it all seperately. Saved me a ton of money too! Best way (and cheapest I found) to book flights, is to sign up with WestJet and watch for seatsale notifications. I waited, not overly patiently , and a 3 day seat sale popped up and I got an incredible deal on my flights there. Waited again and low and behold another seat sale for return flights. After all was said and done between hotel and flights, I managed to save myself almost $700, than booking a package. Sure makes it worth it. If you want, you could always find out what flight the rest of the family is on and check out flights online. Phone the Howard Johnson and request a room near the family.

Hope you managed to rectify your misdeeds from the past. I fully understand a predicament like yours due to some "not thinking of the consequences" moments of my nephews. These events aren't mistakes, but rather learning experiences. With any luck you'll be free to travel by the time the family goes. What a wonderful blessing that would be! Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the advice! My wife was able to get the hojo by leaving a day earlier,and flying out of bellingham (only half hour from our home) my little girl was bouncing off the walls when we informed her she would be going to DL. What an awsome feeling watching her react to the news....she finally fell asleep at around 11pm....she was playing with her many disney princesses in bed with a massive smile every time i poked my head in...good stuff!
