We've always flown out of Philly for our trips to see the Mouse. However, occasionally I see good deals out of Newark as well. I always go with PHL because of being familiar with it.

Each takes about the same amount of time to drive to, so that's not an issue.

Any comments for/against EWR????

Thanks

We have flown out of Newark a bunch of times & never had a problem at all. In fact, we are flying out of Newark this August after flying out of LaGuardia last year. I think it would be fine.

Stick with Philly, parking is closer / cheaper / easier.
I fly out of Philly, ACY & Newark regularly, if I can't fly outa AC, I check Philly and go out of Newark as a last resort. Philly & Newark are about the same distance for me.

I love flying out of ACY - I would rather drive to ACY then fly out of Newark.

Yes..... ACY The undiscovered Gem.

It is the best, but Airtran is usually better on the rates to Orlando. I just wish Spirit had better rates to Orlando, Airtran out of Philly always wins the price war.

Hi! I fly out of either Philadelphia or Newark. I live 10 min from Lehigh Valley Airport (ABE) but due to price, I drive to PHL or EWR. It is about the same distance for me either way. I always check the prices for PHL on Southwest or Airtran and for EWR, I check JetBlue's prices. I think paying to park @ either Airport is outragous in price. So, I park at a secured Park & Fly parking lot for about $8/day. You can find good places to park at reasonable rates @ longtermparking.com. I think both airports are fine. I've never had a problem at either airport. This past Feb. I flew on JetBlue out of Newark to MCO because the tickets were $42 ea/way. I always have to buy a minumum of 7 RT tickets so the cheaper the better and the best price wins. Another MUST is nonstop w/ NO layovers because I always have my 3 year old quadruplets in tow. I hope this helps.

Thanks to all for you input.

We flew Jet Blue 1X, out of JFK. DD wants to fly with them again because she loved the TV.

I will be keeping a close eye on fares, and if Jet Blue has a decent deal in December, I'll try EWR.

In the end, I have a feeling it'll be good old Southwest in Philly, I rarely find better deals with any other airline.

We will be flying to Fort Lauderdale in August with Spirit. Actually got a $9 fare on the way down and $69 on the return out of ACY.

It was completely impulsive because I couldn't pass up the "bargain":rotfl: .

I'm looking forward to seeing what ACY is like. Philly is closer for us by about 45 min., but I'm willing to travel the extra miles if it means a good deal on the air.

You will love flying out of Atlantic City on Spirit Airlines. I wish I could have gotten those prices for our August trip..... But Airtran won at 649.00 for 4 people round trip. You basiclly take AC Expressway to exit 9, and it is right there. You park your car and walk right up to the door. No long term parking etc...... ITS WONDERFUL.

Have a nice trip.
