Never left from Newark airport, how is long term parking, price, does it get full quickly like LGA, is there security, etc... ?

Thanks for any information you can provide me with :thumbsup2

When flying out of Newark we either get dropped off by family or park off airport and get a shuttle over. We have had trouble finding a place to park at the airport and it's more expensive. It gives me peace of mind going directly to off airport parking (with an advance ressie). I did'nt like Mr. B's they dropped us off at the exit not departures and we were running late we had to go upstairs run down to the other end with all of our luggage. I'm planning on using avistar this trip they also give a AAA discount.

I forgot to mention you can go on to the airport website and get parking costs and I believe there is an area to click on for offsite parking. We also learned with LGA parking, our first trip out we parked in long term parking for $200 for the week the next time we used off airport parking for about $80. I learn something with every trip we take.

I use Vista Parking on Frontage Rd, right off 78. They have shuttle to the terminal. With AAA, it's about $13 or 14 a day.

Anyone use park-n-fly?? if so who would you recommend?

I used to use them, then had a problem getting them to come pick us up late one night. We ended up taking a cab over there because they said they didn't have a driver and it would be an hour before they would. They would not pay for the cab fare, they told us we would have to wait for their driver. Too bad because up until that point they were great.

After that we used Avistar.

We just got back from Disney and parked at the Newark airport. The economy lot (P6) was full but they honored the rate at the closer lot (P3). The car was there from 4-14 to 4-22 and it cost us $115.
