Hi there- I am new here and cannot wait to go home and peruse some of these threads to find out more about our upcoming trip. Hubby and I went to WDW in 1999 and havent had a chance to go back until now. We are going in late October and bringing our 4 year old, Ariel. She's SUPER excited, cuz when we took her to DL a couple years ago, she was still too little to ride a bunch of the rides. So, she can't wait to ride Splash Mountain when we go.

I do have one question though, when they do the Halloween party, can adults dress up on any of the party nights, or only on Halloween? I know tickets go on sale and we are trying to decide which day to go on, cuz dangit, I wanna wear a costume!!

Welcome! We are also attending MNSSHP this October. If you look at the park hours for October, you can tell which nights will most likely have the party because MK will close at 7pm. I've heard you should stay away from weekends and Halloween if you want to avoid crowds. We are ignoring that and going on a Friday night anyway - it just works out best for our schedule. As far as I know guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up for all the parties. I know we are planning on dressing up! Can't wait!

Oh GOOD! I am glad to hear that we can dress up anytime. Now I just need to figure out if we're going to go on October 30 or November 2nd (my daughter's 5th birthday)....
