Does anyone know where the New York Yankee Mickey Mouse came from?

I don't want something already made up....I just need that particular Mickey.

Thanks!

Can you post a pic of the design or link? I suspect it was clipart and that the outfit color was altered and the Yankees logo put on the cap. I might have something or could make something that would work but I just want to see what you are after before I invest time in it. :goodvibes

PS: I see you asked Natalie in her thread so I'll assume she'll cover this for you...

Hey Kari,

I have been wracking my brain all night.

I don't where I've seen it, but there is a designer who has all the different football teams and baseball teams in their "account."

It's been a while, so I can't remember if it was a photobucket acct. or not.

I also remembered I saw a whole bunch of clipart with the characters wearing Crocs.

Now, that I'm in the midst of making all my signs, these things are coming back to me.

They may be in one of those links in the sticky threads...I'll have to go back and check after I get back home from school today.

Let me see if I have that Mickey clipart, so I can show you what I mean...

Kari,

Here is what I found yesterday:

I think the background came from Disney Experience, and I can do the font obviously, but I wanted Mickey off to the side with Tony's name to the right, like the other signs Joanna and Natalie do.

Does that make sense?

You don't have to do it for me, but I just can't find the clipart anywhere!

Thanks! Deb

Who made this design? I would love to use it, but I want to ask permission first.

Hmmmm...let me think....

I can't remember where I got it from one of the designers...

Let me go look and see if I can find it again....

Deb

I can't find it right off the bat; I'll keep looking, but normally, I get my door signs/t-shirt designs from the threads...so it was either copied directly off a DISign thread or it came from one of the photobucket accounts.

I'm sure it's fine to use.

I'll keep looking, and if I find out which person designed it, I'll let you know.

Sandy,

I can't find it in any of the Photobucket accounts.

Natalie is the closest designer, and she has a Mickey head with the same NY Mickey next to it.

That means I must have just copied it from one of the threads--one of the cruise ones probably.

You can probably make it pretty easy yourself...I have a copy of the pin that one of the designers sent me. I'll forward it to you.

I'm almost 100% sure the background came from Disney Experience, and the font is pretty simple.

Looks like a simple design to recreate if you don't copy it here.

Deb

It is in DBL101 photobucket
Is DBL101 a DIS member name? I'm just trying to find the designer so I can ask their permission to use it in a different design I'm working on.

Nevermind, I PM'd her/him. Thanks tinkerbell/pixie!

If the design was posted here and you do not need any changes to it - it is OK to save and use the design without permission.

I am making a presumption but...
as designers we enjoy others getting the use of our designs and that is why we post them here. As long as you are using it for your own personal use, there is no need to ask permission.

This is not speaking for all designers but every time this question arises, we all seem to agree that asking permission is not necessary.

I just now saw it was for use in a new design - for that, yes, you should ask first. Sorry, I misunderstood.
