New York Yankee tickets

zero to none- well actually if you don't mind nosebleeds or a game against a non-popular team I suppose you might get lucky. But any decent seats are gone by now. You can always buy on stubhub. I have had great luck with yankee tickets there!

Thanks! I was thinking stubhub was the way to go. Just not sure how many are going. We will be visiting some friends but haven't been able to get a commit out of them yet.

Stubhub would definitely be easiest just so you don't end up making an unnecessary trip to the stadium. If you're going in April or May, you have good chances of getting tickets that day, though. It gets much more difficult once school gets out and the weather is warmer. :)

My dad, brothers, and their friends take a boys' trip to New York every year (sometimes twice) to see the Yankees play. I know that they have used StubHub several times with no problems. Good luck getting your tickets.

If you are willing to take a much lesser seat, you'll probably be ok. (Lesser in terms of good view...).

Or, you could come to FL and get a ticket for when they play the Rays. :teeth:

I've purchased Phillies tickets through Stubhub and had a positive experience:thumbsup2 (Phils tickets are nearly impossible to purchase directly!)

We did that to see the Red Sox. We had great seats and really enjoyed the game (even though they lost).

I just bought tickets for 3 Yankee games through StubHub without any problems! And even with all of the fees, they were still much cheaper than face value. Maybe we'll see you at a game!

Oh I feel your pain! We are going to be in NYC for a weekend in June, and both my boys love and play baseball. We just had to go to a game! So, low and behold they are in town - hurray :woohoo:

Then I find out who they are playing :headache: It's the NY Mets:eek: The ticket prices are through the roof! What luck :sad2: I will probably use stubhub, but I just can't believe the prices. We can't go any other time - that is when we are there after we play at the Dreamspark in Cooperstown.

We get Yankee tickets quite often through the season and almost always use Stubhub. We have never had a problem at all.Good luck getting tickets and enjoy the game!!! The new Stadium is amazing! One of my very places to be.

You're in for a treat... NYers at their finest. :rotfl: Just a warning, I've been to a bunch of Subway Series, some of the fans can get nasty... the nastiest experiences for me have been at Yankee stadium in the upper deck (I'm a Met fan). It's all chance & where you're seated, though. I've been in calm sections & I've been in some where it's insane! No one will bother you, though, they'll be too busy going at each other. :lmao: In all seriousness though, I know it's more expensive but there is nothing like the electricity of the crowd at a Subway Series. You're gonna have a great game- no question! :thumbsup2

Stubhub is great. All it is is season ticket holders selling tickets they don't want or want to make a profit on. Very reliable, but at times expensive.
