New York tomorrow Dec. 30th

I am taking my dd's to NYC tomorrow. Do you think it will crazy being the day before new year's eve? Also what are my chances of getting Radio city tickets at the window. One of my friends got tickets cheap 2 weeks ago. TIA!!

My daughter went into the city Sunday and she said it was crazy, crazy crowded. At one point, the group of four locked arms together to make sure they didn't lose one another in the crowd at Rockefeller Center.

It will be crowded. We've gone in several times on Dec. 30th. At Times Square they do a practice run complete with whoever is preforming and the ball drop. My DD had a blast watching but it was definitely crowded.

Whew - be prepared for an adventure! We were there a few years ago for the 30th-31st - it was more crowded than Disney on NYE!! If your kids are little, hold on tight!! It was just so packed you could easily get shuffled and separated. We stayed for NYE, and it just wasnt my thing - hope you get cheap tickets!!

Holy cow!! Now I am nervous! What time do they practice? all day? I am taking my dd 16 and her friend and my dd8.

We just came back from 3 days at NYC (stayed at a hotel in Times Square) and it was starting to get crazy! When we left yesterday at about 3pm, Times Square was completely mobbed with people just standing around taking pictures. At night, it took us a half hour to get one block to our hotel and Toys R Us was completely mobbed-you couldn't even walk through it. It was starting to get scarily crowded with people pushing and shoving with no room to move. I'm not sure about getting tickets-you could always try to get them online before you leave or try Stub Hub.
