I haven't been on in a while so I just read about this today...told dh about it and he said BOOK IT!!!! So, we now have a TOTALLY unscheduled trip from Sept. 14-18, and the 15th is my birthday!!!!!

SorryI couldn't get back sooner...did the 'Relay for Life' (it's a team 18 hour walk for the American Cancer Society) Fri-Sat. Still recovering! Anyhow....
We booked through Dreams Unlimited. We already had a ressie to arrive 8/20/05. We had to do 2 different ressie's, since the pkg doesn't start until 8/21. The first night is room only. We weren't planning on doing the parks anyway. We're driving down from Rhode Island, so we'll just be doing Boardwalk, then rising bright and early for MK on Sunday.

OK I am not sure if this seems correct to me...
9/6-9/12 6 nights at CR with 1 day base tickets and free dining using YMT is $1749.16 for 2 in a standard wing room

Same nights room and tix for 2 with YMP (non Fl-res code) is $1761.66

I save $12.50 by being a Fl resident? Does anyone else this this is...off?

I see people with PAP's who say they have saved money with this deal, but I guess I'm not exactly sure how this works. Do you get free dining for each day you buy a TICKET or each day you stay at the HOTEL? Can someone please explain this whole thing to me! I'm very excited at the prospect of a quick trip! And if anyone has any info on AAA discounts for this, or the word on applying un-used MYW tickets to the renewal of a PAP, please let me know! Thanks so much!!

It's a surprise our 2 DD (5,2) don't know yet that we are going back again in Sept. DD5 has a fall break in school for Sept 11-18th, so we are staying at ASmo for 8 days/7 nights w/preferred room and 8 day base MYW tickets and free dining for $1309.35 for DH, myself, DD5 and DD2 who is free. Just makes you want to dance

Got up this morning and added passes and the free dining plan to my existing room only reservation. Monte at WDW was extremely helpful. Coronado Springs (standard) from 10/1 to 10/10 with two 8-day MYW plus passes for $1850!!

Now I just have to figure out where to eat...

We're going for a completely unscheduled trip because of this deal! There are four of us and I got All Star Movies for 6 nights, one day MYW base tickets, and the dining for $837. This figure includes the travel insurance.

I thought I was getting a good deal until I saw this post. What am I doing wrong here??? Here is my deal:

My price came to $1250. Can anyone tell me how to get a better price than this????

I thought I was getting a good deal until I saw this post.

If you take another look you will see that Princess Glenda has only ordered a 1 day MYW ticket per person, you have ordered 6 days per person.

I think that is why you see the price difference.

I have an AP and DDE, but chose to go with the new free dining plan. All you have to do is buy one 1 day base MYW ticket for each of you. It doesn't matter if you throw it away or use it later after your AP expires. Anyway as long as everyone in the room purchases at least one 1 day MYW ticket you can get free dining for the entire length of your stay (a snack, a counter meal, and a sit down meal/day/person in the room). It's a great deal if you stay at a value resort, since the AP discounts for value resorts are only what about $18.00/night this time? Basically for a value resort you choose whether to save $18.00/night using your AP discount or $35.00/person/night getting free meals. Instead of eating hamburgers and hot dogs you can eat steak and shrimp everynight free. If you can't eat all the food, use your leftover meals on the day you leave to get sandwiches, salads, chips, sodas, desserts, fruit, etc to eat on the way home (you can't trade a counter service for a sit down, but you can trade a sit down for a counter service meal, so utilize your food court on the day you leave). The only thing is everyone in the room must have the same MYW ticket. In our case I was going to buy myself a one day ticket and my son and D-I-L each 7 day MYW tickets. I couldn't do that. I could either buy us each a one day base ticket and then when we ge there upgrade theirs to 7 day tickets or else buy us all 7 day tickets and not activate mine, using my AP when I get there and then saving my 7 day ticket until after my AP expires next year.

How did you get both the AAA discount AND the free dining?? I just plugged your numbers into disneyworld.com and you did indeed get the AAA discount!!! I've been trying to do it, and everyone is telling me it can't be done! You are VERY lucky!!

We have room, 6 day passes and dining plan
Cost is $1059.

We will now be able to try restaurants we always wanted to go to but did not want to spend the money on and not have to share a meal or two. lol
