It's New Years Eve and I'm curious to see what some people's New Years Resolutions are.

Mine is to form a closer relationship with God.

I will be redoing my resolution from last/this year. I will lose weight this year. In my defense, I was losing weight last year but got pregnant. I had the baby three weeks ago and have lost all the baby weight plus about 10 pounds already. So I am ahead of the game already! I really just want to lose the weight I gained when I quit smoking three years ago.

me too.
i also want to be organised with my study and save up enough money to get over to america in 2011.

I want to lose weight, as well. I lost a lot last year, but I was very sick. I don't want to lose it that way again!

Mine is similar: to trust God more with my problems and turn to him FIRST!:thumbsup2

To remember to slow down every day and just enjoy the simple things in life. :goodvibes

My New Years resolution is to get in shape... DBF,me and my best friend are doing the "couch to 5K in 9 weeks" starting the end of the month...I want to run my first 5K this year and maybe more....

Mine is to be a better stay at home mom (new to the whole concept since Feb 2009 and still haven't quite gotten into the swing of NOT working 40 hrs/week AND being a mom) and I want to be more frugal. No become a cheap cheap, but just be smarter about my purchases (i.e. DD has WAY too many clothes) and hunt the deals and use the darn coupons that I clip (I always forget about them) :)

Try to lose ten pounds(Filling up a bowl of Fruity Pebbles as I am typing this).

I'd really like to work on finding a new job, although that's as much luck as resolution where I live. I also want to finish up with the weight loss I started last year and lose 50 more. I know I can do it, it's just getting the willpower.

My list is to:

1: Try and be more organized in order to better balance family, work and school. I started college this past fall, so my balancing act is not doing so well. I feel like too many things fall through the cracks.

2: Try to be more patient with my husband. He has had a rough few years, I really need to find a way to be more patient with him. I"m finding this very, very hard to do........:rolleyes1

Usually I say to lose weight, but my resolution this year is to be healthier. This is for me and my dd. More exercise, eating healthier foods, vitamins, etc.

And to get a grip on our finances! I looked at a year long statement of our checking account and was :scared1: at how much money we actually spend on nothing--fast food, stops at the Dollar Store or convenience store, bank fees, etc. I really plan to become a cheap skate or at least that mom that squeezes a dollar until George squeals!

To lose Weight
Find more money making opportunities to work from home

To make maximum use of the "ignore" feature.. :rotfl: It's been so much more pleasant DISing without all of the nonsense..:goodvibes

To complete at least one quilt before I leave for the lake again - or at least get it to the point where I can take it with me to finish it up there..:thumbsup2

A couple of personal choices - no need to share..;)

Get caught up on all of this darn filing and throw out things that I really don't need to save anymore..:headache:

Help my Dson-in-law clear out the attic and rearrange things when it's a little warmer up there..:goodvibes

And last but not least, enjoy 2010 to the fullest! I have a feeling it's going to be a very, very good year..:yay:

# 1 - To take better care of myself including working out more, eating healthier, and making sure I look my best when I go out for the day.

I've signed up for an adult ballet class for the spring since I loved it when I was younger and I know it is something that I will enjoy very much. I found a class at my gym that I also enjoy and the instructor is very encouraging that is held twice a week. I know that since I enjoy those classes, I will stick to my work out plan.

# 2 - Volunteer one weekend day per month. I figure I can find 12 days a year to spare.

# 3 - Learn how to work the video camera.

# 4 - Organize a giant box of photographs that has accumulated.

# 5 - Better organize our finances and track our investments more regularly.

# 6 - Continue taking my RN to BSN courses. I am on track to complete my degree by this time next year.

# 7 - Spend lots of time playing with our new puppy.

# 8 - See my favorite local band one evening per month. I enjoy it, it makes me feel happy to see them, so why not.

# 9 - Visit a museum or art gallery one time per month. I did this a few years ago, then stopped and I miss it.

# 10 - Try one new recipe every month.

I think I have come up with a list that is doable and will make for a better 2010.
