Who does 'em? :thumbsup2 Who thinks they're a bunch of hooey?:sad2:

Even though I think they are kinda hokey, I do like the idea of having a specific start date for my attempts at self improvement so here goes:

1.) Listen more before drawing conclusions/ Do not interupt when others are speaking (terrible habit).
2.) Switch to diet soda.
3.) Make to WDW at least once during the year.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYBODY!!!!!! party:

I don't really believe in making resolutions that I will accomplish something, or not do something, but I am going to try and set some goals for the year.

1. To start going back to the gym again
2. Start eating healthier again

Of course I'm not really kicking the year off right as we'll be at WDW for New Years and we'll be on the DDP.... :confused3 But we'll be walking a lot... :rolleyes1

I don't call them resolutions. :teeth:

Continue going to the gym. Strive for maintaining the six day a week routine.

Begin to pay attention to what I eat. Increase the nutritional value (decrease the fats, in other words). Aim for portion control. :rotfl:

Enjoy the fresh start feeling the the new year always brings to me. I usually try to do something new and different. My hair has suffered much in the past years. :rotfl2: Now, I just try to get the house in order, or my files, that sort of thing.

I have several things I'd like to accomplish this year. Improve a program that I direct. That sort of stuff.

Happy New Year everyone! :hourglass party:

Ditto for me! :)

I'm with most of the rest of you. I don't do "resolutions", but I do use the new year as a time for positive change.

This year, I have decided to try something new. I have several goals, and I have made plans to achieve those goals. I am working on a Myspace page to list these goals, lay out my plans, and then I will blog them (hopefully daily) so that I can be accountable to more than just myself for may actions.

Of course I'm off to a rough start with this, as I'm not even finished getting it set up! :woohoo: :thumbsup2

But if you're interested in being one of the (hopefully) many to whom I consider myself accountable, visit me at http://www.myspace.com/christalstl .

I wish you all the best of luck in achieving your goals in 2007, and a year full of love to all of you! :goodvibes

I am boring and going with the same old, same old that most people say :confused3

I went and bought an exersize bike last week and so far, I am 2 for 2 in using it for 2007. Also, I live in Arizona, so I need to get my butt out of the house and do some walking! It felt good to walk the Fiesta Bowl parade last week, so why not keep it going!

I also have cut out the fast food portion of my dining regiment. That is how I got from 270 to 225 over the past 2 years. after hitting a plateau the past 6-8 months due to a new job and home, it's time to kick things back into gear. I have 126 days :hourglass until I go to London and would like to wear XL shirts by that time. It will be great to have to go shopping before the trip because everything I own is too big. Not sure I can remember the last time I bought an XL shirt.

I need to start volunteering. My company pays the group we volunteer with $10 an hour that we are there. Before I moved to Arizona, I used the $5000 maximum each of the last 5 years. This past year, not so much, so it is time to get going and give something back to the community.

My final change is to do something new every month. I have been here for a year or so and really want to get to know the city and meet some new people, so I plan to just get out and try something and see what happens.

Happy 2007 to all of you! Make this the year that you make a difference in your life and those around you.
