Since I was editing the Roll Call anyway, I started counting up the number of families on it and we are at 30 right now! Let the party begin! Hope all of you had a super duper New Year's Eve -- I'm sure so many of us were thinking about our 2013 end of year cruise! We are going to have so much fun!!!

Hi everyone: We just returned home from a wonderful NYE on the Fantasy. Loved it so much we decided to do it again in 2013. That's me, DH, DS, DD and my mom. Can't wait for next year!

Hi Joan! You can be our source for all things New Year's Eve. It must have been amazing since you are doing it again. Do they have formal night on NYE? What do they do that's special or different?

Hey there, unfortunately my family had to drop out of that cruise. It just became too expensive for us. I'm still the Roll Call keeper over there, though, since I started the thread and want to keep those early posts updated. So I'll be living vicariously through all of your experiences! Let's definitely meet up on the New Year's Eve cruise so you can regale me with stories of your Med adventures! Instead of the Med, we are using free miles of my husband's and are headed to Aulani for three days and the Big Island for a week.

Yes New Year's Eve was amazing. It was formal night, and the pirate night fireworks were moved to NYE, so that was fun. After dinner there was a deck party, with a DJ, characters, hats, noise-makers, free champagne and non-alcoholic drinks in souvenir glasses. The whole evening was very festive and a definite high light of the trip.

Great! I was trying to imagine NYE as a pirate and it was a hard sell for me. I would much rather have the fireworks for NYE, but be formal.

We just got off the Dream a week ago. It was so wonderful. I can't wait to go again.
