What speacial events do they have on NYE? Which park would be the best for teenagers?

Epcot was really exciting! Japan was having some type of simacast rock party. Disney passed out hats and noise makers. Japan area was packed with people. We never made it to China but something was going on there too. My daughters who were at the time pre teenage both want to go back to Epcot for New Year's Eve. They seem to think that is the placed to go. Since we stay at BCV it is for me.

We had a lot of fun but I have to say I have NEVER seen Epcot even close to that busy.

Beside the fireworks , extra hours, and LARGE LARGE LARGE amounts of people. There is no difference.

Pick the park you want to be locked up in and go. It is always at capacity, so there is no park hopping on new years eve.

Ha ha....we uh...experienced Epcot for the 1999-2000 milenium new years eve.

Shoulder to shoulder everywhere, and I mean everywhere around world showcase.

We waited in line at the international gateway entrance....it started at the Swan, and went passed the SAB pool. Took about 1 hour, and this was at 7:30am.

It was CRAZY!!!

We are also going to be at EPCOT for NYE. Each country will have a celebration when it turns midnight in their own country; if you make ADRs for dinner, you will more than likely have to wait 1-2 hours for your table; there are drink stations set-up all over EPCOT; each country will have a band playing; Disney usually passes out hats and noisemakers; I have been people grabbing a spot for the fireworks about 6+ hours ahead; and yes, it is very, very, crowded -- but a lot of fun. I have also waited in line 45-minutes for something to drink (coke, water stations). On the other side, MK is also extremely crowded -- but other than Fantasy in the Sky fireworks there is not "as much" celebrating. The teens will love EPCOT.
You might want to go to EPCOT early in the afternoon and then plan on staying until it closes at 1 am.
