Has anyone been to Pleasure Island for New Year's Eve? Is it worth the extra $70-some admission?

Are there any other fun- maybe less expensive- things to do? I read about the Atlantic Dance Hall at the Boardwalk having something . . .

I would appreciate any input!

Our friends kids did it last year (2 couples, 20 somthings). They thought the entertainment was great, but they did not even get the champagne toast(sorry-we ran out!) or the food because the crowds at the tables were so crazy. They thought it was fun, but not worth the price.

My husband and I did Pleasure Island on NYE 1999/2000 and it was so much fun! The food was wonderful - especially the dessert - and they limit the number of people so although it was very crowded, it wasn't as bad as some of the parks sound. We would definitely do it again. It was a fantastic, safe, fun place to party!

Atlantic dance does usually have a party, and less expensive, I think it was about $30 pp last year.
I have never been to WDW for NYE, but will be there this year!

we plan on being in Epcot, but may by tickets to Atlantic dance as a back up plan incase we cant deal with the crowds. I believe they also have entertainment on the Boardwalk Green, should be lots of fun whatever you do!!!

see ya there!
