New Year's Eve

I know it's rather early but I'm so excited that I can't wait to start planning.......I was trying to decide where on Disney property would be the best place to spend New Year's Eve. I've done Magic Kingdom and would like to do something different. I was thinking either the Atlantic Dance Hall at Boardwalk or Epcot. Is there anyone who has done either of these that would like to give input? Does anyone have any great ideas from previous trips? I would really appreciate any input.

Hey we will be there this year as well, and I am soooo excited as well. We will be at Epcot. From what I have read Epcot can handel the crowds better than WDW. And they do a New Years celabration at midnight in each country. I think the first day to make PS for dinning is July 4th. Have fun Maybe we will run into you guys take a lime green Micky and we will see you there.

I was at EPCOT last year and thought it was packed. We got caught in human traffic jams in Mexico (6pm) and Canada (8pm). We finally left and went back to the hotel. I was afraid of what it would be like. That being said, once you got around those two points, it was fine and very few delays. Just keep that in mind and make sure that you get to where you are going to stay kind of early. They start passing out hats and noise makers early as well. Get one before they run out!!!

The crowds don't bother me. I did Magic Kingdom two years ago from open to close. I want to see New Year's Eve at Epcot but I'm also curious about the Atlantic Dance Hall. (I haven't been there yet since I only turned 21 about six months ago) Does anyone have any unique, memorable NYE plans they'd like to share? I was even thinking making reserations at the California Grill or O'hana then (hang out for a few hours) and watch the midnight fireworks from the beach. Any ideas will be appreciated!
