New Year's Eve questions?

New Year's Eve at Magic Kingdom...
What time will MSEP be?
What time(s) will wishes be?
I've called and asked about special events and it seems like nothing is out yet? Will there be a special Wishes dessert party or anything?
I wasn't able to get a fast pass for the Xmas parade. Is it at 3:30? What is the best place to watch this from?

This is a new time of year to be going for us and I appreciate all the help! Initially I thought we would avoid MK on NYE because it is so crowded but we've decided to try it! My son really wants to be there that day.

I go to WDW for NYE just about every year.

We really don't know those answers because WDW has not released that information yet and even if they did they would probably change it. According to MDX, MK hours are how 9-12. That will change. There WILL be Extra Magical Mornings for the MK every day that week and historically the park is usually open until 1:00 oe 2:00 am. Holiday Wishes should be fairly early, like 7:30 pm. Fantasy in the Sky NYE will be at 11:50. The Christmas Parade will be at 3:00. I like to watch from the hub or Main Street, but that's not going to fly on a busy day like NYE. I would watch from Frontierland.

FWIW, you can see the MK NYE fireworks on 12/30 and the park is not as crazy as 12/31. You can then enjoy the fireworks at Epcot or DHS on NYE.

Thank you so much for your help! I hate that they expect us to plan way in advance but then do things like this at the last minute! So one more question, will the holiday wishes at 7:30ish be the typical fireworks and not as good as the NYE fireworks at 11:50?

It's not even CLOSE. The NYE fireworks are the best. If you watch them from the hub (my recommendation) you can see the same fireworks over the castle and then behind you down Main Street over the railroad tracks. It's amazing. A lot of people will leave after Wishes because they have small kids and/or the crowds have finally gotten to them.

It is slightly less crowded on the 30th and we saw the late fireworks from inside MK one year. There were extra hours after midnight and we left the park after the fireworks. We were back at the BWV before 1 AM. Most people stayed at the MK, enjoying the party.

Rent a double stroller for your kids so they have a place to relax. I know your oldest seems too old but my teen DD would still ride in a stroller on NYE if I let her LOL. Since you're at the YC, I would try the MK on 12/30 and then walk over to Epcot on 12/31.
