New Year's Eve question

Thinking of going to Seaworld NYE. From searching other threads, it would appear that if the park reaches capacity, it will likely be later in the evening.

My question: Does the parking lot fill up and close, and if it does, would it still be possible to walk in without parking, as I'll be staying at a hotel within reasonable walking distance. Or if the parking lot closes, does that mean the entry gates close also?

As far as I've ever heard. They only shut down the parking lot when out of parking spots.

So, if you're walking in, it shouldn't be an issue.

Also, it seems to be that usually, they reach capacity before noon, close. And reopen around 3ish when there is more room to park people because the earlier people have left for the day.

I've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which along with the Renaissance are literally on the other side of the parking lot,you just cross a street that's pretty light on traffic and you're there. There's a couple other hotels like the Hilton vacation club that are probably a very easy walk.
