New Years Eve Help Needed for Universal

My dh's mom is giving us her condo for a week Dec 28th thru Jan 4th....We just found out about it yesterday and now I'm frantically plaanning..

Since this trip was not a budgeted item in our vacation budget ..We will be bypassing Disney all together...We bought a 5 day bonus pass from Universals web site..So we will jsut hang at Universal....

Please give me some help on Universal...What should I book for dinner reservation for New Years Eve.. My oldest sond is daibetic so I cannot chance not having ressies...Can anyone suggest a good restuarant either in the park or at one of Universal's hotels for New Years Eve with kids...

Mama Della's just take the boat from citywalk to Portino Bay Hotel you will love it. They are to have a huge 50' tree on the piazza and an band playing. PBH is very family oriented and you would enjoy that. I personally would not take my kids to citywalk after 6 or so on NYE. There's gonna be some partying there and I don't feel it's kid friendly for our 10yo and 2yo triplets. We will be at Mama Della's for supper and prob some champange in the room overlooking the bay listening to the band and watching the fireworks from our balcony. Best wishes for a safe holiday.

What would you reccommend spending new years eve at...We are in a condo 20 minutes from Universal???

I'd be happy to help you out. First you can make ressies' for mama della's call PBH at 407-503-1000 ask for concierge or the resturant directly. As for what to do on NYE do you have a sitter? Or will it be all of you together what are your kids ages? What level of thrill do you guys like? Give me some more info and I'll do my best and maybe the others will jump in with suggestions as well.

We are staying on site and I'm not familar with other US area hotels we've never stayed off site except for the first night and we choose DD the best western LB go it 25 a night 2 rooms thru price line.

My kids are 12, 7 and 4... We have no sitter so its the whole family for new years eve...So I'm looking for something fun and exciting....My kids are aprty animals when schhol is out...

My dughter is adhd so she is up every nite anyways till 1 am..So this is no biggie for her....She has very bad insomina and requires very little sleep....
