New Years Eve Dinner

Can anyone tell me about the Fantasia meal at Epcot? What and where is it? Do they only do this on NYE? Is there a restaurant called Fantasia? Thanks!

There is no restaurant called Fantasia. This is a special event held on NYE only. The buffet dinner is held in the World Showplace between Canada and England. The theme this year is the Fantasia movies.

Thank you for the link ... I actually just found it! I am wondering if that is last years info since most of the stuff on the page refers to 12/31/2008. Does anyone know if the dining plan is accepted for the buffet? I would assume two credits if it is. Not sure it is something we would want to do but want to be sure I lay out all the options and facts for the family!

Likely that is last year's info. Keep watching for this year's to be released.

I did an Easter buffet in the World Showplace in 2008 and I would not do another one. The food was blah. The special occasion buffets have always been 2 DDP credits per person.

the World Showplace isn't the same as the World Showcase. The World Showplace is a building between England and Canada that is used for special events, like Party for the Senses and other special dinners throughout the year. It originally housed a bunch of 'special' countries during the Millenium Celebration.
