New Year's Eve dining question

My DH and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary on New Year's Eve and are staying at the BCV for 4 nights: 12/30/2004 - 1/03/2004. We are not planning on going to the parks NY's eve but we were thinking about eating a late dinner and trying to see the fireworks from a distance. Our last trip we ate at Narcosssees and loved it! Does anyone know how late the restaurants serve dinner on NY's eve? We were thinking about eating a late dinner at Narcoossees and watching the fireworks from the Grand Floridian.

I would imagine that when the 90 days are out for reservations that you could just ask for the last possible seating time and go from there.

Wishing you better weather than last year's NYE. It poured and poured and poured in the evening. HOwever, we were safely inside and watched the 900 fireworks from O'Hanas, then over to GF for a bit of dancing on in the lobby and running out in the rain to make NYE wishes in the courtyard fountain and back to WL where we watched the fireworks from our balcony at midnight.

I don't think the special NYE schedule is out yet. My guess is that the restaurants are offering later seatings. You won't be able to make PS's until 9/26 and the CMs may not even be able to access the reservation system until then to check. Perhaps you can call Narcosssees and ask what their plans are. Either that, or you can have a couple of places in mind and see which restaurant has the best availability . Make sure you tell them you are celebrating your anniversary and leave enough time for dessert and slower diners in front of you.

California Grill has a special NYE dinner for $500 a plate if you're interested! I'm sure you'd see the fireworks from there!
