My dh and I were thinking since his parents are going to take ds3 for New Years Eve night, him and I might make ourselves a few drinks to toast . lol So, I was wondering what are some of your fave cocktails? :drinking1

We are not boozers in the least bit, but every once and a while we like to let are hair down to a degree. To tell you how out of the ordinary drinking is for us, I refered to the liquor store last night as "That place where you get liquor... you know...The alcohol shop" :goodvibes

Also, the "main" ingredient for alcohol is Vodka, so any recipe with this would be great. :earboy2:

We like "Cowboy Punch" straight from Pleasure Island in WDW!

1 cup pinapple juice
1 cup sprite
1/2 cup Malibu or Captain Morgan's Rum (I know you asked for Vodka..sorry)
1/4 cup of blue curacao
Garnish with banana slices.

:wave2: :wave2:

Chambord and Champagne

Pina Coladas with a splash of Amaretto-YUM!

Have fun...and Happy New Year!

If I am gonna have a drink I like a Creamsicle:
Ingredients:
2.0 scoops vanilla Ice Cream
0.5 oz Orange juice
0.5 oz Triple sec
0.5 oz Vodka

Directions: Add all ingredients in blender and blend at high speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Serve with straw in dessert or cocktail glass. Tastes just like a Dreamsicle!

I think I'm going to make some this weekend! Thanks

I like Apple Martinis with Grey Goose Vodka and Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps. Not sure what else may be in there. Yummy.

For a festive holiday cocktail, pour one ounce of Grand Marnier and one ounce of cranberry juice into a champagne flute. Top up with dry champagne or sparkling wine (about four ounces). Looks and tastes great!

If you prefer vodka-based drinks this is a lovely, tropical one:

1 cup crushed ice
1.5 ounce vodka
4 ounces pineapple juice
1 ounce cream of cocnut

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour and garnish with a slice of pineapple if desired.

Enjoy! :)

My vodka drink of choice is a White Russian...vodka, kahlua, and milk/cream. Pour over ice and shake.

Ohh, I should add that the reason for for Vodka recipes is because we are going to buy some Skyy Vodka to use in a recipe we got from my dh friend for a cocktail using Godiva liquour. :drinking1

MMM!! This sound wonderful!! I am a vodka drinker myself. (If and when I do drink, that is) My problem is that I've had Gastric Bypass, so I have to be careful what kind of mixes I use. I can't have anything too sugary. I usually end up with a Screwdriver, but I'm getting so bored with them. I would love to try something a little more exotic. I think I might be able to find some low sugar pineapple juice. Hopefully a little coconut cream won't hurt me too much.

My roomate and I are having a small cocktail party for New Year's...and this is one of the drinks we are making:

Ingredients
1 1/2 oz vodka
1/4 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
1/4 oz fresh pineapple juice
1 twist lemon peel

Pour each of the above into a tall bar glass. Shake with ice, pour into a cocktail or martini glass, and serve.

:) Happy New Year!
