New Year's Eve at Epcot.

Do you think it is feasible to have a 9:35 Rose and Crown ADR for 9 people and be able to get out in time to see the fireworks at 11:40. I'm thinking with the crowds we may have a hard time even reaching the place.

Does anyone have experience dining at R&C or at Epcot on New Year's Eve?


Should I try to make the reservations somewhere else?

NYE advice can be a little hard to find.

I won't be much help to you but we have R&C ressies for 10:00 on NYE this year. I am actually hoping to finish up or be close to finishing up and be able to view the fireworks at 11:40 from R&C's viewing area.

So maybe you guys would be able to do this too?

R&C might be difficult to get out in time to find a decent spot for fireworks. 9:35 is one of those times that is probably too early to just stay and watch the fireworks from there and too late to get a decent spot, however with a party that size it could be different. When we were there for NYE 08-09, we had dinner at 8:00 at Biergarten. We were out by 9:15 but a lot of the prime IllumiNations spots were already filling up and with the difficulties moving around the WS, it could take a while to get to a spot you really want.

I thought it was a little to early as well but it was the only thing available. I was surprised to get it as I made it just 2 days ago. What do you think the last reservation time is for R&C on New Years? Do they stay open through the 11:40 fireworks?

I was thinking with 9 people it would take longer but not sure about 2 hours. They might split us into 2 tables. Do you think if we arrived right at 9:35 they might not seat us until 10 or so? I guess the worst case scenario is we just squeeze out at 11 pm and just watch the fireworks from the sardine can we will exit into.
