New Year's Eve at Disney Springs?

Hi! I'm wondering if you can please tell me about your experience visiting Disney Springs on New Year's Eve.

I anticipate arriving at All-Star Sports at 3pm on NYE. Will I make it to Disney Springs in time for my 4pm Boathouse reservation if I use a Disney bus? Is the traffic really bad on NYE? Will it take us a long time to bus back to All-Star at 8pm?

How crowded is Disney Springs on NYE? What's the vibe like?

Definitely give yourself more than 1 hour just in case. Traffic is pretty bad all day around the entire WDW property but Disney Bus will be your best bet.
DS will feel festive but, yes, it'll be crowded

They don't typically do anything special at Disney Springs for NYE. The previous poster is right though about traffic. Expect it to be bad.

No, you will most likely not make it to DS by 4pm....or even 6pm. Traffic is the worst you can imagine - and then DOUBLE that. Find somewhere you can go nearby and enjoy your NYE there. Don't board Disney transportation unless you are OK with waiting on that bus in stopped traffic for an hour or more.

If you are looking for something different to do. Grand Floridian does a balloon drop at midnight, the jazz band plays all night, it's a very festive atmosphere, they have pop up bars around the lobby and you can try and book reservations for one of their restaurants.
Over at Boardwalk they have a party at Atlantic Dance Hall, that's a paid event
