Thank you Kaz...she just turned 27 this past october (so they're what - a couple of years apart?)...i also told her about mtg you & Sophie in NYC too- & she's all for that trip!

I'm home from my first day at school...

not a bad start, already doing some homework - a little lite reading in Chemistry and some research to do for Graphic Design. Tomorrow night I have my next class, 630 to 930 and then another chem class on thursday morning. I didn't have my monday classes this week thanks to Reverend King~

My MIL finally got a job! She starts on thursday Next step is getting her the h*&% out of my house!!!!! Only two more months~

As expected, I really liked tonight's class. It's basically a guy who works in radio and tv teaching us how to get into the entertainment business. I am thinking I like Advertising and could use my photographic and graphic design to get me there.

This is exciting, and really looks like the start of a career you're going to love. Keep a professional-level portfolio of your work, and before you know it, you may be working for a cool company or have your own business. We can all say we knew you when...! Seriously, I'm so happy for you, and I believe your time has come.

Today is my scrapbook weekend retreat up in the mountains at Camp Hammer....BUT with all the rain we're getting & snow beyond 2000 ft. it's a little 'iffy'...i don't care if it rains once everyone is up there safe & sound....it can storm all wkend - as long we don't lose our heat & power....& stops before noon on sunday ...just a few little demands
Leaving here today at noonish..so hope you all have a terrific weekend...catch up with you all Sunday Night!

Mmmm, they're lovely!!! I'm not sure I could manage that high - I get arthritis in my toes if they're kinked too much! My feet are quite small, so the incline is steeper - if you see what I mean... Might have to give 'em a try tho' as they're sooo pretty and wedges are easier to handle than conventional heels...

I've been no help at all, have I????

I'm getting a little stressed about air fares from London to Orlando for the cruise! Actually I'm getting a lot stressed, as those I've found are crazily expensive and there are seven of us to bring over!!!

I shall keep hunting but currently I'm concerned the cost is going to be prohibitive. Keep ya fingers crossed for me, Magic Mateys...
