John (DH) and I celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday. I took my prize out for sushi and he bought me chocolate covered strawberries. He also bought me a bottle of crown royal for me to take to Florida with me
I was up around 930, hung out with the family and puppies til almost 2. John wanted to treat Adrian (DS) and I to Tony Lukes but there was a Penn State game which means a really long line, so no cheesesteaks.
Adrian and I were dropped off at the gate by 230 and thru security in 15 minutes. I checked the bags outside...sooo much easier, actually worth the tip.
Adrian was hungry. We stopped at a sandwich stand and he got a vegan/vegetarian sandwich (hummus, soy cheese, eggplant and bean sprouts) and a vitamin water. I got a pepsi.
The boy and I had SW boarding numbers A24 and 25. I thought that was great until the airline steward said there were only 25 on our flight today

Everyone on the plane had their own row. We had a little turbulence and saw a nice sunset from the air. I listened to Harry Potter audio book and DS listened to his iPod. Adrian says he likes the lights at night better than the sunset, he said the sunset made him think of hellfire.
For the first time ever, the descent hurt! My decongestant must've totally worn off. I don't like it when myears hurt.
Adrian and I made the obligatory potty stop and then headed to the monorail. DS asked if we had to take it, that was an emphatic yes. Have you ever noticed how long of a walk that would be without that monorail ride?!? Adrian was remembering his first trip from when he was five. He said he thought he was one of those kids who thought he was at Disney once he rode the monorail.
There were so few people on our flight that our luggage was already out and we had to run and catch it before it went thru to come around again.
Next stop was Alamo. I did the check in at the kiosk. There's alotta steps but it did seem easy. With that done we headed outside to choose our car. Of course the compacts are as far away from the terminal as it could possibly be. There were PT cruisers in the compact lane! For $90 for the week, I'll take me a PT cruiser. After watching a girl with her eye on mine walk away, we chose the red one.
...next up...shooting for Universal we wind up dowtown
